Avisha Therapeutic Massage & Skin
By booking an appointment, you confirm and agree to the following:

Massage and skin therapy services are provided for relaxation, therapeutic support, and wellbeing only and are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment.
You confirm that all relevant medical conditions, injuries, allergies, medications, recent surgeries, and pregnancy status have been disclosed. You agree to update this information before each appointment.

Pregnancy Massage:

You confirm you are in a suitable stage of pregnancy with no medical complications unless disclosed. Pregnancy massage is provided for comfort and relaxation only.

Remedial Massage:

You understand remedial massage may involve deeper techniques and may cause temporary soreness, tenderness, or fatigue. Results vary and are not guaranteed.
You agree to communicate clearly with the therapist regarding pressure, comfort, or discomfort and understand you may stop or modify treatment at any time.
Mild side effects such as soreness or bruising may occur and are considered a normal response.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

• A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule
• Less than 48 hours’ notice: 50% cancellation fee
• No-shows or same-day cancellations: 100% of the appointment fee
• Late arrivals may result in reduced treatment time while being charged the full fee
• Fees may be waived at management discretion in genuine emergencies

To the fullest extent permitted under New Zealand law, Avisha Therapeutic Massage & Skin is not liable for injury or loss arising from treatment, except where liability cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
All personal and health information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.
